These cards publish figures from two official returns: OpenFEMA Disaster Declarations Summaries v2 for declaration counts, and FEMA's National Risk Index for county risk scores, which PlainHazard holds for 3,232 of 3,266 counties. Each widget is a minimal noindex card carrying its own attribution link, so a reader who lands on it can reach the ranking the number came from and check it against the source.
