A NWS Employee captured video of a landspout tornado beginning in an open field southwest of I-25 and NM Highway 6, moving ENE and crossing the intersection turning to the NE moving through multiple businesses. Damage to metal awnings, vehicles, and covered parking was surveyed at the public health building. Batting cage netting was lifted into tall light poles at the baseball field southeast of Los Lunas High School where the landspout ended. Damage is an estimate.
